Choose a yacht charter with a captain and crew who enjoy being with children. Don’t expect them to babysit though. A crew who enjoys interacting with kids is good enough.
Choose a cruise trip that only lasts for a short amount of time. Cruising in Dubai is perfect as it usually lasts for 2 hours. If you are going fishing in Dubai for at least 4 hours, inform your kids ahead about your plans so they know what to expect.

Discuss safety rules with your kids before and during your yacht charter. Some basic rules for kids to remember include wearing lifejackets all the time, never going to the front of the boat along, no running and horse-playing onboard, not swimming alone, and listening to the captain.

Make the trip educational. Let them talk to the captain and crew, show them the navigation charts and instruments, or allow them to try steering the yacht with the captain. This makes them feel more involved and fascinated with sailing.
